A brief introduction...

I am a friendly, outgoing, confident individual with years of experience spread through a variety of roles. Within these roles I have, over the years, proven that I am a hands on kind of guy, cost aware and able to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of efficiency and accuracy. I'm no good sat on my hands waiting for things to happen... I need to drive, have a plan and work towards goals.
Being driven does not mean I don't play fair... I am a team player, I've spent time in leadership and management roles, which I have enjoyed and challenges and problem solving make the day worthwhile. Being presentable and a well travelled individual with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills naturally helps.
It all started with a pencil and pen, then computers burst onto the scene!

Sometimes I got my hands dirty, other times it was just my collar. In all instances I’ve worked hard and developed the positions.

My position within the company merges several roles into one; Management of the divisions, Communications strategy, Marketing Channels and Publication initiatives. With a directive to create publication and marketing material for a wide variety of uses, design and grow the company’s online presence, ensuring adherence to brand criteria at all times. Where appropriate, generate design briefs for internal and external resources. This has all been achieved by managing internal and external resources to maximise budget and timeline requirements.

The initial brief was to find cost savings for the company’s manual creation system and begin a centralisation of marketing collateral. As this was achieved an in-house department was formed which I led. The department maintained and extended the manual and illustration database, designed and created marketing material, generated presentations for the sales teams and built the companies online presence.

I led a small digital team specialising in the production and sale of digital image print products such as exhibition graphics, pop-up stands and full vehicle wraps. Influencing design and specification to suit client requirements, liaising with all concerned to ensure work was completed to schedule and on budget.
